This MyGreyGardens.com web site was created by Robb Brawn & Lee Arboreen. Both of us grew up in New Jersey and had pretty different lives until we met in 1988. We've been together now for 19 years !
Robb majored in business language, and music. Lee, religion and art. Both of us have had numerous different jobs over the years, but the major stints for Lee were the restaurant business as a head chef, and the design industry, as a showroom manager. Robb's longest stint was as a flight attendant based out of New York, flying mostly international flights to just about everywhere in the world and earlier on, he worked in a bank in Manhattan.
We now live in Philadelphia concentrating on our three loves: music, art, and animals. Although we have both had dogs, cats, birds, mice, turtles, and you name it, we have somehow found a special attraction to cats. We have been active in local organizations that provide low cost spay/neuter programs, and have trapped dozens of stray and feral cats in Philly, had them "fixed", tested, and immunized, and placed in good homes. Our own brood consists mostly of those who have required more attention, time, or love than most are willing to give. They are our family and a great source of joy for us. Click OUR CATS for a slideshow of some of our kitties past and present.
A very logical project for us was the creation of a music CD called Feline Fiesta. Nine songs about cats. (one for each life of a cat). Robb & Lee co-wrote the tunes, Robb sings most of the vocals and plays keyboards, Lee, backing vocals, and all artwork on the CD cover and insert. A true labor of love, the CD has had praise from all phases of the music and entertainment industry. Our celebrity fans have included Carol Burnett, Casey Kasem, Barbara Mandrell, Betty Buckley, and even the late Tammy Faye Baker. For more on the CD and to hear samples of all 9 of the tunes click this link:
In addition to continually adding to MyGreyGardens.com, we have 2 other web sites under construction, special remixes of several of the Feline Fiesta tunes, a podcast, and a dynamite Youtube Video in the works. Robb continues to do studio work and is currently writing a new song to be recorded and released in Spring of 2008. Lee is busy at work with his line of hand painted art work called "FURR" Check out his page at by clicking this link. FURR
